What our interior painting includes
Most interior projects are a mix of rooms and surfaces. We paint one room or the whole house, and the written estimate lists exactly what is included so there are no surprises.
- Walls in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and basements.
- Ceilings, including stain-blocking primer over old water stains once the leak has been fixed.
- Trim: baseboards, door and window casings, crown molding and chair rail.
- Interior doors and closets.
- Kitchens and bathrooms, with finishes chosen for grease, steam and frequent cleaning.
Walls and ceilings
Walls and ceilings are most of what you see in a room, so we spend the time to get them right. We fill nail holes and dents, sand patches smooth and spot-prime repairs so they do not show through the new paint. Ceilings get a flat finish that hides small imperfections, and stained areas get a stain-blocking primer first so the stain does not bleed back through.
Prep is where a good finish comes from
Paint only looks as good as the surface under it. Before the first coat we:
- Move and cover furniture, and protect floors with drop cloths.
- Patch holes, cracks and dents, then sand them flush.
- Caulk open gaps where trim meets the wall.
- Prime bare repairs and any surface that needs it.
- Mask switches, outlets and fixtures.
Bigger wall damage is handled as part of our drywall repair and surface preparation service.
Paint and sheen
We work with premium paint lines such as Benjamin Moore and help you pick the right sheen for each surface: flat for most ceilings, matte or eggshell for walls, and a harder satin or semi-gloss for trim and doors. You choose the colors. We will tell you honestly how a color or sheen is likely to look on your walls.
Clean, respectful work in an occupied home
Most of our customers live in their homes while we paint. We work room by room, keep walkways clear, clean up at the end of each day and do a walkthrough with you before we call the job finished.

Interior Painting FAQ
Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?
No. We move and cover furniture where it is practical. We only ask you to put away small fragile items, wall art and anything valuable.
How long does an interior painting project take?
It depends on the number of rooms, ceiling height and how much repair the walls need. Your written estimate includes the expected number of working days.
Can you paint while we live in the house?
Yes. We plan the order of rooms with you so you always have a usable space, and we clean up daily.
When do I pay?
There is no payment until the job is done and you have walked through it with us.
